Rhythmic and music-kinetic education and singing
Anastasia Zakynthinou comes from Karya, Lefkada. She is a graduate of the Department of Local Government of the School of Management and Economics, of the Technological Educational Institute of Kalamata, a graduate of the Department of Folk and Traditional Music of the School of Art Studies, of the Technological Educational Institution of Epirus, with specialisation on ‘Outi’ a traditional instrument. She holds a Master's Degree in "Interpretation of Instrumental and Vocal Music", of the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She also holds a degree in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue from the Hellenic Conservatory of Athens.
Attended Seminars for Teaching Music-Motor Education with the Orf System and Training for Trainers of Adults at the Kapodistrian University of Athens.
She has won the first prize in the First Panhellenic Traditional Song Competition held in Drymonas, Lefkada.
She has worked as a Trainer in the Program "Learning Traditional Outi Instrument" for Adults, as a Music Teacher at the Music School of Lefkada, Music Instructor at the Lefkada Nursing Home and the Public School of Lefkada. She now works as a Teacher of Music-Motor Education, from the ages of 8 months to 80 years old.
She has participated in music bands and collaborated with renowned musicians and artists (Manolis Lidakis, Michalis Ghanas, Chronis Aidonidis etc.).
At CHARISMA she teaches rhythmic and music-kinetic education and singing. She also participates in CHARISMA Band.
